The new Snow & Sports catalog is out–have you had a chance to check it out? There’s winter items for your penguin, including ice skates–just in time for December events!
Some of you have suggested the Ice Rink should return, and we thought it was a great idea, so in preparation we added skates to the catalog. In mid-December the Ice Rink will return, so you can put on your skates, get your buddies together and head over to the rink! -Club Penguin Team

So many of you are so excited about Coins For Change coming back December 12 – 22, and the team is really thrilled about all of your feedback. We’ve heard from a lot of you about how important it is that we all work together to bring change in the world. I wanted to tell you about the causes that we’re going to be donating to this year:
*Kids who are sick
*Kids who are poor and cannot go to school
*Kids without parents or who have been hurt by war
Remember, a total of one million dollars will be donated to those causes, and with your coin donations, you’ll help to decide how to split the money. Every coin matters so even if you can only donate a little, you’re helping to bring big changes in the world.
Let us know what you think.
Until then…Waddle on!

How early will you start decorating your igloos for the holidays? On Friday there’s a new Better Igloos Catalog out and I managed to get a few images from the art team:
Do these get you in the holiday spirit?
In Other News: The response to Card-Jitsu and the ninja training has been awesome. We’ve heard from so many penguins who are loving it. We know that the servers are really busy and that some of you are waiting to play. Thanks for your patience. Some of you have asked where you can get The Club Penguin Trading Card game. Ninjas
Theres a new game in club penguin called Card- Jitsu
there are belts you can win from playing Card – Jitsu and winning several times.
>>
it takes a long time to get up to black belt. And once you are black belt, then you face the Sensei and you earn Ninja things.
Before you start though, you have to talk to the sensei and get a deck of cards, then you will be tested for white belt. i think..
then you just keep winning till you get up to black belt

For so long, so many of you have asked for ninjas to be part of Club Penguin, and today the wait is finally over! Today you can begin your ninja training at The Dojo.
Playing the Card-Jitsu game will start you on the path of your ninja training. The more you play, the closer you’ll get to mastering the game and discovering what being a ninja in Club Penguin is all about. When you go to The Dojo, talk to the Sensei and he’ll give you a deck of cards to use. There are three modes of play:
Friend Mode: You can have friendly competition with other penguins by clicking on the blue mats inside The Dojo. You’ll gain some experience points through this mode.
Competition Mode: The Sensei will match you with another player of similar skill level. You’ll gain the most experience points in this mode of play.
Sensei Mode: You can challenge the Sensei at any belt level, but when you beat him at the black belt level (level 9), you’ll be rewarded.
Don’t forget that if you have the new Club Penguin Trading Cards, you can click on the Unlock Items Online icon to enter your unique code. It will enhance your online game play. And if you need help with the game, you can go to talk to the Sensei inside The Dojo.
The team is so excited to hear what you think so let us know!!
Until then…Waddle on!

The wait is almost over! On Monday, the Club Penguin Trading Card game will be available in North American Toys’R'Us stores and also online at ToysRUs.com, ToysRUs.ca, Topps.com and the Club Penguin Online Shop (The Value Deck). You’ll be able to play the game at home with your friends, but they will ALSO connect to the brand new multiplayer Club Penguin game that starts on Monday!

Starting Monday, you’ll be able to enter the unique code from your Trading Cards into the Club Penguin site to enhance your online game play — you’ll be on a fast path to mastering the new game! We can’t wait to hear what you think of the cards – so let us know what you think!
In Other News: Since so many of you asked, we wanted to let you know that on November 25th, the Club Penguin DS Game will be available at the following North American stores: Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, Amazon, Toys’R'Us, the Club Penguin Online Shop, and more.

After all the mystery and excitement, The Dojo has finally been repaired and the Grand Opening has begun! We hope you have a chance to celebrate with your penguin friends this weekend! The grand opening celebration will be around all weekend and it includes a brand new room — the one many of you have been helping to uncover over the past week. It’s called the Courtyard! We would love to hear what you think about the grand opening, the new room, and all the creative things you and your friends have planned for the celebration!
In Other News: Many of you have asked for a mute button and the team has created one! Now you can mute music in Club Penguin — just click the question mark at the bottom right of your tool bar and select ‘mute music’.

Because of the incredible response from so many penguins last year, because we heard from so many of you that you want to do it again, and because you guys worked hard to help change the world last Christmas, the Coins for Change campaign will return this year!
Like last year, a one million dollar donation will be shared between three causes that help kids, and the coolest part is you will be able to use your Club Penguin coins to decide how much of the one million dollars goes to each.
I’ll have more details in the next couple weeks including information on the specific organizations your coin donations will be able to support.
As always, we’d love to hear what you think about Coins for Change including any suggestions you have to make it even better than last year!
Until then…Waddle on!

The Dojo needs your help! Construction is currently underway after the big storm blew through during the Halloween Party. There’s talk that it’ll be fixed within the next few weeks. Be sure to climb the ladder, too–we’re excited to hear what you think about what you find.
If you don’t already have one, grab a construction hat so you can help out!! The only way to get to The Dojo is by clicking on your map and finding it on the mountain range.
As always, we want to hear what you and your penguin friends are up to all over the island – and what creative ways you find to help out at the Dojo.
Until then…Waddle On!

Some of you have written to say that you think the 2″ Mix & Match Figures are so much fun! We think they’re awesome, too. I have the Space Alien and the Astronaut here, and it’s cool to mix them up! We’d love to hear what your favorite Mix & Match Figures and combinations are…
The Mix & Match figures are available North American Toys”R”Us stores, Club Penguin Online Store, and Disney Stores and Theme Park locations across North America. Also, the Club Penguin Toys page has an update about the new Trading Cards. Visit www.clubpenguin.com/tradingcards/index.htm to take a look! Let us know what you think.
In Other News: I’ve been hearing from some of you that you’ve had a chance to meet Gary the Gadget Guy waddling around the island for the Halloween festivities. He’s invented so many cool things in Club Penguin (like the Jet Pack and the Pizzatron 3000), but he’s a bit shy of crowds sometimes. If you’re wearing your Rad Scientist costume, it’ll probably make him feel right at home! If you see him, say hello from me. Don’t forget — the Halloween Party comes down on Monday, so be sure and do the scavenger hunt if you haven’t already!!
Until then…Waddle On!
